Chef vs Massaia
Borgo Egnazia invites you to the most awaited culinary competition of the year, a challenge of cooks on the typical tastes of Puglia in the genuine and rural setting of our La Frasca restaurant: Chef vs Massaia.
Two ways of interpreting the Puglian cuisine, one reinvented by a creative “auteur cuisine”, the other more rooted in traditions. A complete dinner, during which a chef and a massaia will challenge each other cooking pasta and a second course featuring local ingredients. New experiments of flavors on one hand and grandmother's recipes handed down from generation to generation on the other, skills in using knives against ancient wisdom of rolling pins: all this awaits you in an exciting fight of flavours, with no-holds-barred.
Our cooks will give their best in the realization of their masterpieces, but the grand finale will be exclusively reserved to you, our guests, who will be called to taste and judge, as impartial arbiters of the challenge.
